A family house with an indoor swimming pool is situated among cherry orchards on the north edge of the Prague Valley. A mild southward slope offers an unbelievable view of the whole city. That was the most important matter for the design. The volume can be defined as an interplay of cubic masses overlapping in the space resulting in a structure acknowledging the function of the interior in the outside. The final effect is emphasised by material temperance of materials - grey and white plaster, dark wood window casing, and black steel combined with the only luxury material - travertine. The builder's interest in an ideal entity made it possible to carry the project through up to the custom made maple and walnut wood furniture in tune with the building’s succinct form.
